About me: I love reading, writing, playing games, and laughing with friends and family! I love horses and the color purple.

I've volunteered with many organizations, including AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, where I served in Guyana, South America, and hospice. With a social work background, I worked as a hospice volunteer coordinator until retirement. And I’m a graduate of The Institute of Children's Literature.

I am a mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. I subscribe to the Peter Pan theory...we may grow older, but we don't have to grow up!  I cherish childlike wonder, and I spend a lot of time in Mexico, enjoying the rich Mexican culture.
