So Dear Reader...about me: I love reading, writing, playing games, and laughing with friends and family is one of my favorite sports! I love horses and the color purple!! I have volunteered with many organizations, including AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, and hospice. With a social work background, I worked as a hospice volunteer coordinator until retirement. 

I am a mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor. I subscribe to the Peter Pan theory...we grow older, but we don't have to grow up (completely!)  I cherish child-like wonder, and I spend a lot of time in Mexico, enjoying the rich Mexican culture.
